Seasonal Ecologist
Location: Southampton
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 pro rata
Contract: Seasonal / Fixed-term
Our client is a well‑established ecological consultancy seeking a Seasonal Ecologist to support a busy field season in the Southampton area.
This role is ideal for an enthusiastic ecologist looking to gain hands‑on experience across a range of ecological surveys and projects, working alongside a supportive and experienced team.

The Role
* Assisting with a variety of ecological surveys, including (but not limited to) protected species surveys and habitat assessments
* Collecting high‑quality field data and supporting reporting tasks
* Working on sites across Southampton and the surrounding areas
* Supporting senior ecologists with project delivery during peak season
About You
* A degree (or working towards one) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
* Some previous field survey experience is desirable
* A strong interest in ecology and wildlife conservation
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings when required
* A full UK driving licence is preferred
