Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Stokeinteignhead Primary School is looking for two enthusiastic, talented, resilient and committed people to support children at the school. Both roles can be combined for the right person.
As a Teaching Assistant you will need to be calm but firm and enjoy working with children, having a minimum qualification at GCSE Maths and English. Experience of working in a classroom situation or a qualification as a Teaching Assistant, NVQ2 or NVQ3 would be ideal. We are looking for someone who can continue to liaise and build relationships with parents and families and, therefore, good and courteous communication skills are a necessity.
The Playworker helps to supervise children in the after school club, the role includes:
1. Preparing simple foods for the children.
2. Planning, supervising and engaging children in craft / games / play activities.
3. Overseeing systems to ensure records and payments are up to date.

This role requires a DBS disclosure.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
