Main duties and responsibilities:
* Raise and manage purchase orders based on internal demand and system requirements
* Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times and delivery schedules
* Support supplier performance tracking and help resolve delivery or quality issues
* Assist in maintaining accurate data within the MRP/ERP system
* Monitor stock levels and assist in planning replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking
* Support pricing reviews and cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with the Buyer or Purchasing Manager
* Maintain supplier documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a purchasing, supply chain or procurement role
* Confident communicator with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
* Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (training can be provided)
* A proactive attitude and genuine interest in developing within procurement
