Your role:
Adventure Playgrounds are a unique form of staffed, open access play provision where children and young people can enjoy their childhood through engaging in play activities in their own neighbourhood.
The successful candidate will join the team at Norley Hall Adventure Playground at an exciting time as the new facility is due to open in May 2025, the post holder will support the Play & Community Co-ordinator to deliver services and activities for children and families.
About you:
For this role you will need to be compassionate, fun, fair, not afraid to tackle something difficult, calm in a crisis and be able to appropriately deal with challenging behaviour and safeguarding concerns.
You will have knowledge and experience of working with Children and young people and be able to adapt your practice to work with children and young people from 0-18.
The post holder will need to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the community when delivering activities and services working both indoors and outdoors in all weathers, the role requires regular evening and weekend working so you will need to be flexible to a changing work rota.
