As a Support Worker, you will not only enhance the lives of others but also gain valuable experience and training to advance your own career. Join us in our brand new supported living service in Sandwich, where we have high expectations for our staff. You will receive comprehensive training locally before you start supporting individuals.
Shift Patterns
This is a 24-hour service, so flexibility is key! You will work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, with options to discuss flexible arrangements such as nights only, weekends only, or part-time hours.
Your Role and Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
* Be patient, understanding, and confident in your approach.
* Use mindful language when communicating, ensuring honesty and consistency.
* Support individuals in living fulfilling lives.
* Collaborate with specialists in multi-disciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.
While your primary focus may be on one individual, you may occasionally support others in need. Rest assured, you will receive the necessary training to provide effective support to everyone in our care.
This flexible approach fosters a collaborative, team-focused, and person-centered environment, ensuring everyone receives the care and attention they deserve.
