We are recruiting for a Patient Registration Clerk who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This role is pivotal for the smooth running of the department, supporting the Multidisciplinary Team Patient Pathway Facilitators to collect and input accurate and timely data and preparing for MDT meetings. If you have good organisational skills and you are able to interact with people at all levels this job will be what you are looking for.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will receive referral letters and documentation from secretarial teams, electronic referrals from Casper system, and paper chemotherapy referrals
Register patients onto Lorenzo system and add referrals to Lorenzo, taking care to ensure referrals are linked correctly to existing pathways, or new pathways created in line with 18 weeks RTT rules.
To add patients to ICE system to enable investigations to be requested.
Create patient notes, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly
Recognise the time sensitive nature of patient referrals and ensure they are dealt with quickly, efficiently and accurately
General office administration and duties and attend departmental meetings as required

ENHT is seeking to maintain and expand the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre staff as we move to an exciting new future.

In addition, you will receive a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £ 5,941 per annum pro rata.
