Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, full time (40 hours per week) post based in RHCYP/ RIE / SJH Hospital.
Applications are invited for the above 2-year post (with possible extension by a further year) available from 1st July 2026. This post will support a fertility preservation service for children and young adults.
The postholder will be responsible for undertaking duties associated with the care of children and young adults of reproductive age. The postholder will assess patient referrals, participate in decision-making, discuss complex cases with senior clinical staff and prepare summaries of patients for presentation at the local or national MDT. The role includes support for patients at remote Spoke sites, including providing clinical advice and facilitating patient consent. The postholder will also provide clinical care to patients at RHCYP. The successful applicant will also undertake a clinical research project aimed at obtaining an MD/PhD qualification.
Please note that to practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a license to practice.
