This Legal 500 practice is looking for a Finance Director to join their market leading team.

The Role:
As a Finance Director you will:
* Oversee daily accounting and legal cashier operations.
* Supervise and train accounts team, monitor performance, and allocate tasks.
* Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs, and cash flow reports.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
* Monitor income, expenditure, and budget compliance.
* Post monthly journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll) and process VAT returns.
* Perform bank reconciliations, client-to-office transfers, and supplier invoice postings.
* Handle payroll processing and PAYE/NI payments.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Manage SAR audits and liaise with the bank and HMRC.
* Support senior management with analysis and address partner and staff queries.
Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years of experience in finance within a law firm
* Recent experience working under SRA Solicitors Accounts Rules in a law firm is essential
* You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
