Your Role
Tasked with being in charge of the onsite residence staff; you will create a home from home environment for our international students by assisting your residence leaders in guiding their groups from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable.

After a summer of working as a Residence Manager, you will leave having created truly amazing memories for your students and will have managed a team of international staff. You will expand your organisational skills to ensure the room allocations are maximised and that our logistics systems are up to date.
Responsibilities
1. Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. A live-in position that sees you having the overall responsibility for a hotel/residence and the students/staff who are staying there
2. You will manage room assignments, coordinate arrivals and departures, and ensure a seamless experience for our students
3. You will liaise with residence owners and staff on anything from cleaning, maintenance, to theme events and safety
Requirements
4. A flexible approach to hours of work undertaken is essential
5. Experience of managing or leading a team desirable
6. Highly motivated, energetic, positive
7. Customer service orientated, friendly & approachable manner
8. Able to remain calm under pressure & to diffuse potentially difficult situations
9. Sensitive to needs of international students living away from home
10. Excellent communicator with students, colleagues, and external clients
11. Attention to detail, organized & thorough
12. All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
13. Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment
