Senior Change Manager
bp has an opportunity to join its mobility & convenience Europe business as a Senior Change Manager. This fixed‑term contract role will end December 2026.
About the Opportunity
You will lead and integrate change management for bp’s transformation programmes across multiple markets (Germany, UK, Iberia, Poland). Your role will include cultural and behavioural change, capability building, and mass behaviour change to create a winning business.
Key Responsibilities
* Change integration: create and run an integrated change roadmap spanning all value creation programmes included in M&C Europe’s transformation; resolve overlaps, sequencing conflicts, and resource/content dependencies.
* Change strategy & planning: define change approach, standards, and tailor toolkits (e.g., impact assessment, partner plans, adoption metrics) and ensure each programme applies them consistently.
* Stakeholder engagement: map and manage stakeholders impacted by and required to support the implementation of change initiatives; chair regular change forums.
* Change impact & readiness: lead cross‑programme and Region impact assessments (people, process/ways of working, policy, tech), readiness reviews, and business readiness affecting sites and customers.
* Drive cultural change & engagement: create the target culture, work with M&C leaders to define the behaviours needed to drive business transformation, and develop interventions to embed these behaviours.
* Build capability: partner with internal learning teams, identify and build core capabilities for M&C Europe (e.g., commercial acumen, data‑driven decision making).
* Communications: develop communications materials to embed change, raise awareness, and galvanise people into action.
* Management of change & benefits realisation: define adoption key performance indicators, dashboards, and benefits tracking; coordinate a structured management of change process.
Experience & Qualifications
* Significant experience leading complex, multi‑programme change in retail, convenience, energy, mobility or similar operational, safety‑critical environments.
* Proven track record of integrating change programmes.
* Strong facilitation and influence skills at executive and field levels; comfortable working with franchisees/operators and third parties.
* Data‑driven approach to adoption and benefits tracking; capable with dashboards and insight storytelling.
* Formal change credentials (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, BSc or MSc in organisational psychology) and familiarity with Lean/Agile a plus.

* Positive feedback from markets, site operators and programme leads; reduction in change collisions and rework.
