Langley Trust has an exciting opportunity for a client-focused Approved Premises Residential Intervention Worker to join our dedicated team in Poole, Dorset. This full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week across a 7 day rota. There will also be a requirement to be included in the on call rota. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £33,812 per annum and is ideal for someone with experience in the UK criminal justice system.
In this role, youll deliver tailored interventions and support programmes that help clients reintegrate into the community, manage risk effectively, and promote positive behaviour. Working closely with probation services and other agencies, youll play a vital part in reducing reoffending and making a real difference in peoples lives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver rehabilitation support through programmes, group sessions, and one-to-one interventions to help clients reintegrate into the community.
Manage risk effectively by contributing to risk management plans, monitoring compliance, and reporting significant changes related to harm or reoffending.
Coordinate referrals and liaise with agencies, including offender management, probation services, and community providers, to review progress and manage risks.
Conduct client engagement activities, such as prison visits, pre-placement meetings, inductions, and ongoing keywork, while supporting residential staff.
Promote positive behaviour and compliance with Approved Premises rules and licence conditions, using pro-social modelling and fair enforcement when necessary.
Maintain accurate records and procedures, including risk assessments, medication administration, mandatory testing, and participation in MAPPA meetings.
