Bank Sterile Services Technician - Weekends
We are inviting applications for the position of Bank Sterile Services Technician. This is a bank position, working on an ad-hoc basis, based at Ramsay Sterile Services East Midlands in Kettering, Northamptonshire. We recently opened a new Decontamination Hub in Kettering.
We are seeking experienced TSSU Drivers to join our busy team and be part of this exciting development. The new purpose-built, state-of-the-art unit provides an efficient decontamination service to 9 Ramsay Hospital sites and operates 24/7. We are looking for a committed individual to work shifts over the weekend, including day or night shifts.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and open to available shifts based on the hub's needs. Please note that on a Bank contract, shift patterns are not fixed, making this a great opportunity for current Bank workers or those seeking additional hours. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and motivated.
Requirements include:
1. At least 2 years of experience in decontamination of re-usable medical devices or completion of a recognized decontamination course (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
4. Good computer skills (MS Office).
5. Flexibility and adaptability.
6. Customer service skills.
7. Willingness to work occasional night shifts once competent.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing the full decontamination cycle on re-usable medical devices to the highest standards, in line with all Ramsay policies and procedures.
* Participating in quality control processes and ensuring accurate documentation.

A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. You work on an ad-hoc basis, filling available shifts, providing flexibility and the opportunity to earn additional income.
