Are you passionate about outdoor learning and supporting children on a 1:1 basis?
We are looking for a dedicated Outdoor Learning 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide tailored support to a student with additional needs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in natural environments and believes in the benefits of outdoor education.
* Provide 1:1 support for a student, helping them engage in outdoor learning activities.
* Assist in delivering outdoor lessons, nature-based activities, and sensory learning experiences.
* Encourage positive social interaction, confidence-building, and personal development.
* Support the student's emotional well-being and learning progress.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals.
* Ensure the outdoor learning environment is safe, engaging, and inclusive.
* Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN or outdoor learning setting.
* A passion for nature, outdoor education, and child development.
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
* Ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Forest School Leader) is desirable.
