This role reports to the Crew Optimisation Manager and involves producing optimal crew pairings and roster solutions monthly. The position requires detailed analysis to create resilient, cost-effective crew schedules that comply with legal, quality, and union standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create safe, legal, and cost-effective crew pairings monthly, ensuring compliance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL), company policies, and industrial agreements.
2. Manage the end-to-end roster production process, including setting parameters, managing data, coordinating re-runs, and delivering solutions to the Rostering Team.
3. Develop optimized crew pairing and roster solutions aligned with schedules, crew availability, and pre-assigned duties using analytical tools and Excel.
4. Review and adjust pairings to improve efficiency and performance, utilizing data analysis and recommendations.
5. Generate ad-hoc reports, analyze data, and provide insights for future planning.
6. Evaluate roster solutions post-production and refine parameters for upcoming cycles.
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant College or University degree.
* Minimum of two years' experience in rostering and pairing optimization.
* Excellent Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to improving roster solutions.
* Effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical data clearly.
* Knowledge of EASA FTL, Fatigue Risk Management, or related regulations is advantageous.

Location & Working Hours:
Based in Luton, full-time (40 hours/week), with hybrid working support (3 days in-office).
