The Role As Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information that supports the company's growth and ensures compliance. You'll manage a small finance team day-to-day, oversee all management accounting processes, and play an active role in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and insight. Manage weekly bank reconciliations and resolve any variances swiftly. Produce cash flow forecasts and maintain rolling financial projections. Ensure FCA-related reconciliations and reporting are compliant and up to standard. Review internal processes to strengthen financial controls and efficiency. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with department heads. Liaise with auditors and maintain a clean audit trail. Process monthly payroll using Sage Payroll. Oversee credit control and manage insurance-related payments. About You You're a motivated, detail-oriented Management Accountant who enjoys both the analytical and operational sides of finance. You're confident communicating financial insights and enjoy helping others understand the story behind the numbers. You'll bring: A professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA preferred). Solid experience in management accounting and financial reporting. Proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage Payroll. Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting. Excellent organisational and communication abilities. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail. (Desirable: Knowledge of FCA regulations, especially client funds.)
