Electrical Project Manager / Qualifying Supervisor – Staffordshire - £45, per year plus benefits
AndersElite are recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager with Qualifying Supervisor experience for an established client based in Staffordshire, due to the continued growth of the business.
This is a full-time role on a permanent basis and will generally be office-based with visits to site and client premises as required. There is also some provision for remote home working with associated IT setup to accommodate this and provide some flexibility.
This role is available from September onwards, although applicants with longer notice periods will also be considered.
The following Experience & Qualifications are compulsory to be considered:
o Experience on the tools as a qualified electrician.
o Experience in electrical contracting in the domestic sector.
o SMSTS qualification would be preferred.
o BS 18th edition qualification would be preferred.
o Competent with Microsoft Excel and word
o Previous Qualifying Supervisor role undertaken.
Duties include:
o Management of electrical elements of projects
o Liaison and reporting to Contract Manager and clients
o Close liaison with inhouse colleagues.
o Attend site meetings and communicate with client representatives as required.
o Attend site to review progress, installation quality, etc
o Identify and raise time/cost variations to contract scope.
o Arrange daily / weekly labour and materials
o Feed into project programme progress and submit progress reports
o Support Contracts Manager with labour and material forecasting
o Raise risk assessments and method statements
o Ensure compliance with client / PC Quality Assurance processes.
o Act as Qualifying Supervisor for NICEIC certification.
This role is expected to provide a basic salary of around £45, per annum plus a £6, car allowance.
