Registered Building Inspector - Class 2A Building Control Surveyor Here is your chance join a respected and supportive Building Control team where your expertise is truly appreciated and rewarded. This RBCA is a stable team with a low staff turnover. The role is because of a long serving member of staff is going to retire. Youll get a really helpful handover with this role, so the Building Control projects so the service to clients is smoother and theres much less issues along the way. Youll also get support from the Building Control Regional Manager. Theres an existing workload and loyal clients in place across residential, domestic and small commercial projects. A typical week will see you out on site completing building inspections (around 15 per week or 20 for smaller projects) and up to 5 plan checks per week depending on the complexity. Heres the main duties of the Registered Building Inspector: Carrying out site inspections and plan checks Ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations, guidance, and industry standards Managing a regional caseload of Building Control projects Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders Advising clients and managing their queries Whats in it for you?
