High-Tech Smart Infrastructure Scale-Up | Business Development Executive | Office based/Cardiff | £40-50K base + OTE + Equity

About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on sales professional to lead business development efforts in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors. The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building and managing customer relationships, and executing the company’s sales strategy on a global scale. Ideal candidates are self-starters with a problem-solving mindset, strong engineering knowledge, and a passion for growth.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, lead, and implement a comprehensive B2B sales strategy.
* Drive new business acquisition and manage existing accounts.
* Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Meet or exceed monthly revenue, new account, and recurring business targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
* Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align on business goals.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven success in closing B2B deals, particularly in construction or infrastructure.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at pace.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and customer engagement abilities.
* Previous experience in prefabricated infrastructure, water management, or concrete (desirable).
* An international mindset and openness to global expansion opportunities.
* Note: Candidates should meet at least 90% of the criteria listed above. A collaborative mindset and cultural fit are equally important.
