Regional Partnerships & Community Manager - Home-based role Independent Gyms is the UK’s leading community supporting independent fitness businesses. We connect gym owners with trusted supplier brands, industry events and a supportive peer network that helps them grow stronger businesses. We are looking for a Regional Partnerships & Community Manager to help grow our community, support gym owners and strengthen relationships with the brands that partner with us. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, attending industry events and being part of the wider fitness community. Why Join Independent Gyms? Work with some of the most enthusiastic gym owners in the UK Be part of a growing community shaping the future of independent fitness Attend major industry events including Elevate, FIBO and others A flexible, home-based role with autonomy and responsibility A fun, supportive and informal working culture Success in this role will include: Growing Independent Gyms membership within your region Increasing revenue from partnerships and event sponsorship Strengthening relationships with key supplier partners Increasing partner lead generation and visibility Driving attendance at Independent Gyms events Building a strong community of engaged gym owners Partnerships Build and manage strong relationships with key supplier partners across the fitness industry Identify new potential partner brands within the fitness industry Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with partner brands Onboard new partners and manage announcements across social media and internal communications Manage partner profiles on the Independent Gyms platform, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Champion all brands with Independent Gym Members Collaborate with partners to deliver promotional activity that maximises exposure, engagement and lead generation through the Independent Gyms platform. Achieve team and personal revenue targets relating to partnerships Memberships Build strong relationships with gym owners within your region, acting as a trusted point of contact for members. Support gym owners with partner introductions, industry advice and relevant business connections. Identify opportunities to add value to members through partnerships and events. Grow membership within the region and the wider UK Grow the number of gyms represented on the Independent Gyms Map Host Regional Meets for Premium Members within an allocated geographical region Encourage member attendance at Independent Gyms events Encourage member attendance at external industry events where Independent Gyms are present Play an active role in strengthening the Independent Gyms community by connecting gym owners with each other as well as with partner brands. Achieve targeted team and personal revenue targets relating to memberships and related metrics Events Support the planning, marketing, promotion and operations of all Independent Gyms events Assist with hosting and facilitating networking at Independent Gyms events Support the planning, attendance and success of Independent Gyms presence at external industry events Attend and represent Independent Gyms at internal events and key industry events Achieve targeted team and personal targets relating to Independent Gyms events Identify and maximise partnership and sponsorship revenue related to Independent Gyms events Social Media and Content Represent Independent Gyms across social platforms and contribute to growing the organisation’s online presence. Support the creation, scheduling and monitoring of social content across Independent Gyms channels Contribute content ideas from across the Independent Gyms community Create, schedule and send direct mail for partners and events. Build a visible social media presence documenting activity within your region and promoting the Independent Gyms community. Skills & Experience Experience in account management, partnerships or sales A passion for the fitness industry Excellent relationship-building skills Strong communication and networking ability Comfortable attending industry events and representing the brand Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely Experience with social media and digital communication platforms Previous experience in the fitness industry Experience working with SME business owners General Home based role with minimal weekly travel (1 day per week) Act as a positive ambassador for Independent Gyms across industry events, social platforms and public interactions. Ensure all partners and members are presented in a positive manner Have fun, in a professionally informal manner Package Competitive salary based on experience.
