We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Planned Project Surveyor (Property Safety) to join our clients team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on delivering critical safety-focused projects across the property portfolio. You’ll oversee works including lift modernisations and water hygiene improvements to CCTV and door entry system installations, you’ll ensure planned works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards — keeping customers safe and properties compliant. Your role will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, whilst building strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. What You'll Be Doing * Plan and prepare installation and upgrade projects with Contract Managers and external consultants. * Procure and manage contractors in line with organisations standing orders. * Supervise project delivery, ensuring quality, cost, time, and customer satisfaction standards are met. * Conduct inspections, prepare snagging lists, and ensure certification and documentation is complete. * Lead customer and stakeholder consultations, providing expert technical guidance. * Promote a “Safety First” culture and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards. * Support programme reporting and budget management. * Conduct risk assessments and take action to mitigate risks. What We’re Looking For * Formal technical qualification in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), lifts, or water hygiene. * Project management qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience. * Understanding of Property Safety legislative requirements in social housing, including lifts, water hygiene, and M&E equipment. * Proven experience in contract and performance management in a planned project setting. * Experience monitoring works budgets and procurement processes. * Familiarity with service charge principles. * Strong communication skills, including report writing and engagement with stakeholders. * Able to travel locally, regionally, and nationally, including occasional nights away. Desirable qualifications may include: * Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations or NVQ Level 3 * Authorised Person Lift Management (HTM 08-02) * Legionella Responsible Person & Duty Holder Training
