Role Overview:
We are seeking a Research Mentor in Computer Science with a Postdoctoral affiliation or PhD Candidates from UK universities(only). Preferred from the below list:
* University of Oxford
* Cambridge University
* London School of Economics
* Imperial College London
As a mentor, you will guide high school students through the journey of crafting research papers in advanced topics like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, and more. You will help students conceptualize, structure, and execute research that stands out for its originality and depth, preparing them for university-level rigor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor students on research methodology, literature review, data analysis, and technical writing.
* Guide projects from idea conception to final research paper/publication.
* Foster a spirit of innovation and critical thinking.
* Provide feedback, evaluation, and suggestions for improvement.
* Help students navigate academic challenges and push the boundaries of their research.
Qualifications:
* PhD or Postdoctoral experience in Computer Science or related fields from the listed top-tier institutions.
* Proven research expertise with publications in high-impact journals or conferences.
* Passion for mentoring and teaching the next generation of computer scientists.
* Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in AI, ML, Quantum Computing, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
* Knowledge of Python, R, MATLAB, or Java.
* Prior experience mentoring high school or undergraduate students is a plus.
