A Bit About Us
Beavertown began life in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Enfield. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.
Now, we’re happily brewing loads of great beer - for everyone to enjoy - anywhere in the universe...although tastes best when drank on Earth. So, if you’re after some tasty beer with a difference you’ve come to the right place.
The Role
Fancy joining an innovative company where you’ll focus on bringing in new business within the North East of England, with a particular focus on Yorkshire? There may also be requirement to travel to Leeds / Sheffield to help drive brand awareness and distribution within these geographies too. As the primary point of contact between Beavertown Brewery and customers in the area, you’ll ensure that accounts are selling our beers to their full potential.
Hunting for new opportunities and partnering closely with new and existing customers to ensure Beavertown brands are pouring and that they look the best in the market. This is a great role for someone who’s eager to take responsibility for growing and maintaining our accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Proactively seek out new customers for our beers, focussing primarily on the on trade
* Proactively partner with customers to manage expectations, ensure orders are placed and collaborate closely with various route to markets
* Maintain clear and well organised communication with customers
* Establish, maintain and develop relationships with your customer base
* Schedule and attend meetings with key contacts
* Educate our customers on our products to maximise sales
* Track and report customer buying trends to Sales and Production management
* Maintain all sales goals and personal budgets outlined to you.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting and data entry into the relevant systems
* Represent Beavertown Brewery at promotions, tastings and special events
* Conduct waitstaff / bartender educations
* Work some nights and weekends
* Seek out beer related educational opportunities and keep up to date by reading industry publications
* Other duties as intermittently assigned by your manager
* As a result of the all of the above the expectation would be that the successful candidate would be spending 80-90% of their time in the market
What You’ll Bring To Us
* Previous experience selling beverages in the On Trade
* Well-developed communication and people skills; effective on an interpersonal level
* Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
* Strong track record of delivering incredible results
* A real sense of urgency in making things happen
* Good track record in delivering successful outcomes
* Strong judgment and maturity levels
* Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
* Solid time management skills with the ability to plan ahead and manage multiple tasks
* Work independently, and also within a team, to accomplish goals
