Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are looking to recruit a Business Analyst on a 6-month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey, with occasional travel to client sites in London and Swindon.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will join an experienced and friendly team supporting the Estates Management Integrator platforms that support KBR’s Government Services EMEA business division and its public sector clientele. The role involves working closely with the Estates Intelligence Solutions Architect to develop best practice solutions for the Estates Intelligence Viaverse. The candidate will collaborate with the Product Manager, Technical Leads, and Support Manager to understand existing packages, identify improvements, and develop processes to enhance our offerings.
Responsibilities
* Capture, develop, and baseline new requirements or refinements to existing requirements for the Estates Intelligence standard solution.
* Develop or refine business process flow sets and functional requirements documents under version and change control.
* Work directly with internal stakeholders and vendors to define requirements for integrated systems.
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure understanding and adherence to requirements throughout the development cycle.
* Maintain all business requirement-dependent artefacts (e.g., User Guides, Training documentation) to ensure they are current and relevant.
* Research current and industry best practices in the FM Industry and client businesses, providing insights to the business.
* Work closely with the Product Manager and Product Owner to remain aware of existing solutions and new functionalities.
Experience / Skills
* Ability to listen to and direct requirements effectively.
* Proficiency in translating contractual requirements into structured documents and business processes.
* Good knowledge of how database software works.
* Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Understanding of the software development lifecycle and how requirements influence development, testing, deployment, and support.
* Ability to create multi-functional flow diagrams to describe business processes.
* Understanding of configuration management principles (version control, change control).
* Ability to analyze data sets to identify improvements.
* Some SQL experience is beneficial but not required.
* Organized with good planning, prioritization, and self-management skills; able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels and from different organizations.
* Ability to interpret requirements and develop viable solutions.
* Understanding of contractual scope and compliance.
* Team-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment to meet deadlines.
