Responsibilities
* Support the daily routine of the nursery
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Work in partnership with parents/carers and childrens families
* Be an effective key person
* Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with
* Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences
* Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
* Observe, support and extend each childs learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
Essential Skills And Experience
* An Ofsted recognised Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification
* Experience of working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
* Ability to engage and inspire children through creative and stimulating activities
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Paediatric First
* Safeguarding
* DBS
Schedule
35 hours across 4 days per week or 40 hours across 4.5 days per week, may consider a good Level 2 qualified practitioner who would like to gain their Level 3 qualification. Senior practitioner roles also available.
