The role You will design, develop and deliver of Acin’s offering related to regulations, enabling banks to improve their Risk and Control framework as part of non-financial risk management, for specific regulatory obligations. Main duties Research to develop or improve Acin’s current offering on regulation. This might include: Developing and improving the methodology used to map controls to regulatory obligations, Incl. the content aspect (what makes sense) and the technology aspect (how to best use AI). Optimising the sourcing of regulations and regulatory obligations Developing new and impactful analysis to make the dataset more interesting and impactful. Delivery of the existing Acin offering to clients (top tier banks) Be the “reg expert” as part of the Intelligence & Analytics team and lead regulation related client facing interactions. Prepare analysis for the presentation of results and insights to clients, including handling large datasets and extracting insights out of that dataset. Prepare analysis based on client pain points and client requests or inquiries. Requirements 4-10 years of relevant regulatory experience, obtained in a diverse role within a bank or financial services consulting/analytics firm. Solid understanding of investment banking and financial services industries. Understanding of the banking regulatory environment in UK, US, Continental Europe and /or Switzerland, MiFID II knowledge and experience desirable. Strong academic background in Finance, Statistics and Accounting or equivalent. Proficiency in analysing large data sets and create common trends among complex and unstructured datasets. Highly skilled in all essential software applications – particularly Excel, and PowerPoint. Python desirable. Effective, sharp, clear and succinct communication skills, both verbal and written, and the confidence to have challenging dialogues Proven project management skills and ability to work independently. Proven ability to work in a demanding environment - managing multiple projects, co-ordinating with colleagues globally and meeting tight deadlines.
