“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” - Edgar Degas
Cheadle Hulme High School is currently looking for a dedicated Teacher of Art and Technology who can contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences. We are seeking an individual with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching art, both within the classroom and beyond. This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers.
Art, Craft, and Design embody some of the highest forms of human creativity. Our curriculum offers opportunities to understand the unique qualities of different materials and processes, and to exploit these within practical work. At Cheadle Hulme High School, we value creativity and original thought, believing these are achieved through acquiring powerful knowledge—the understanding that most of the items or products we interact with daily are designed by humans, for humans, for specific reasons.
