A bit about the role...

Working in the Anti-Economic Crime Operations Team, the role holder will play a critical role in Homes England's commitment in the prevention and facilitation of economic crime. You will be joining our small but highly skilled team, who are committed to the highest standards of economic crime compliance.

Working with key stakeholders and a professional Anti-Economic Crime - Customer Due Diligence team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective resolution of economic crime prevention and the have the opportunity to help foster a healthy compliance culture.

A bit about you…

You'll be comfortable supporting the Anti-Economic Crime team with customer due diligence reviews, acting as gatekeepers. You will be experienced in economic crime prevention and customer due diligence.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level, and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as the Anti-Economic Crime – Customer Due Diligence team.

* As an experienced specific discipline compliance professional, you'll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
* You will have the skills and experience to:
* Manage the full CDD process for lower-risk customers, making sure their risk is assessed correctly, and the right level of checks are carried out, including enhanced checks where needed, such as identifying Politically Exposed Persons and monitoring for sanctions.
* Conduct customer risk assessments for low risk customers and make risk based decisions that are in line with our Anti- Economic Crime policy framework.
* Review and manage sanction alerts and escalations from your stakeholders.
* Professional anti-money laundering qualification (such as ICA, ACAMS or CISI) is desirable, but not essential.

You will be motivated by safeguarding public funds, demonstrate integrity and accountability in everything you do, and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you will thrive on making a tangible impact — helping Homes England deliver with confidence and protect its reputation.
