Each of these has its own uniquely crafted seasonally changing menu, all distinctly different from one another. We also have beautiful event spaces for weddings and private and corporate events with menus to match. The Sous Chef assists the Executive Sous Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and efficiency. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing daily food preparation, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Sous Chef - What's involved? Assisting the Executive Sous Chef with the running of the department - planning, ordering and preparing Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of performance and teamwork Oversee daily food production, quality control, and presentation Monitoring rotas - ensuring any staff absence is covered and the department is fully staffed. Assisting in other kitchens of the hotel when required. Sous Chef – who are we looking for? Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Someone who is highly organised and a natural communicator.
