Support Road Co-ordinatorLocation: Shotton Hours per week: Full time, 40 hoursSalary: £26-28k (depending on experience)Your roleYou will be part of a team of transport professionals based on our customer site in Shotton, working together to ensure the smooth running of the customer contract. You will be responsible for creating UK road loads for our customer in their SAP system and ensuring that delivery plans are met and loads are optimised for payload and cost.Key responsibilitiesloads for UK road movements to all UK delivery points, including management of urgenciesinformation on planned loads to customer services and respond to any queries as they arisepayloads by selecting best combination of goods including opportunities for multi-dropsclosely with customer and suppliersdocumentation to facilitate customer returnsthat information in the system is accurate and updated as requiredand resolve issues relating to road planning for customer services and external warehousesfor Despatch Planning and Road Scheduling Team Leader as appropriate.Your profilein a logistics role (desirable but not essential)with SAP (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided)communication and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage own workloadnumeracy skillsknowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Officepositive customer service attitudeknowledge and awareness would be an advantage.Who are we?We are P&O Ferrymasters and we work with some of the largest companies in the world to make sure that their goods get to where they need to on time and efficiently.
