Mechanical Site Supervisor – Southwest

Advance TRS are supporting a leading contractor in the Southwest Water region. They are looking for a confident, hands‑on Mechanical Site Supervisor (Mechanical AP) to take charge on site.
The Role
Reporting to the M&E Manager / Lead Site Supervisor, you’ll drive and control all mechanical site activities – delivering to spec, on time, and with zero compromise on health & safety or quality.
You’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring:
* Safe working environments for all staff, subcontractors & visitors
* HS&E documentation is current, compliant & fully reviewed
* Method Statements & Work Instructions are robust and followed
* Mechanical works are delivered to specification and programme
* ITPs are completed progressively
* Accurate progress recording & as‑built updates
* Non‑conformances are identified, recorded and resolved efficiently
Experience
You’re an experienced water sector professional who knows mechanical installations inside out:
* Strong background in pipework fabrication, welding & erection
* Able to assess weld quality with confidence
* Experienced in punching & snagging pipelines to Isometric, GA & P&ID drawings
* Comfortable reviewing technical documentation and driving standards on site
Qualifications
* HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship in pipework & welding + experience
* SSSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid
