We are partnering with a fast-growing organic food business in Devon to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join their friendly, expanding team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role for a proactive professional who can lead BRC and customer audits, manage the HACCP team, and oversee quality systems across the business. You will be the go-to person for technical enquiries, customer complaints, product specifications, and compliance with food safety standards.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience leading BRC audits, customer audits, and HACCP teams
* Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and microbiological standards
* Ability to handle technical queries, root cause analysis, and non-conformance reports
* Competence in product specifications and packaging compliance including ingredients, allergens, and nutritional information
* Level 4 Food Safety for Manufacturing and Level 3 or higher HACCP, with auditing qualifications desirable
* Excellent organizational, communication, and IT skills
* Positive, proactive attitude and a good sense of humour
Desirable: Experience in organic food manufacturing and BRC or Soil Association accreditation.
