Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Activities coordinator to join our team in providing enriching and engaging activities for our 12 residents. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through thoughtfully planned activities that promote social interaction, physical well-being, and mental stimulation.
Duties
* Develop, implement, and oversee a activities programme tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
* Coordinate and lead group activities, ensuring participation from all residents while fostering a sense of community.
* Assess individual resident needs and preferences to create personalised activity plans.
* Collaborate with caregiving staff to ensure activities are safe and suitable for all residents, particularly those with dementia or Alzheimer's.
* Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback to continually improve the activities programme.
* Organise special events, outings, and celebrations that enhance the social atmosphere within the care home.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote upcoming activities and gather input for future planning.
