About the Role: Design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum. Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of food, cooking, and practical skills. Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques, nutrition, and food safety. Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond). Collaborate with colleagues in the Food Technology department and contribute to school-wide events, such as the annual food festival or culinary competitions. The Ideal Candidate: Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related subject. Demonstrates a strong passion for food, cooking, and nutrition, with a captivating teaching style. Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment. Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students. Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
