Working Capital Manager - 12 Month FTC

Salary: Up to £54,700 DOE

Key Responsibilities
Working Capital Ownership
* Take full accountability for working capital performance across the organisation.
* Reduce creditor days through smarter oversight and proactive intervention.
* Maximise supplier credit recovery and oversee accurate, timely payments.
Debt, Cash & Liquidity
* Speed up the conversion of accruals, prepayments and receivables.
* Lead debt recovery and partner with key stakeholders to accelerate cash flow.
* Support forecasting with clear insights on risks, opportunities and cash optimisation.
Controls, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
* Strengthen financial controls and ensure robust, reliable data.
* Deliver insightful working capital reporting that drives decision-making.
* Identify inefficiencies, champion automation, and embed best practice.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to implement meaningful process change.
Leadership
* Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing payables team.
* Build a culture that embraces accountability, improvement and partnership.
Experience & Qualifications (Essential)
* Experience in AP, AR or wider working capital management.
* Strong understanding of controls, KPIs and financial operations.
* Proven experience driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action.
* Confident influencer with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
* People-management experience with the ability to mentor and motivate.
* Proactive, adaptable and decisive in fast-moving environments.
