Mortgage Administrator
We’re currently recruiting for the position of Mortgage Administrator (internally known as a Mortgage Coordinator) to join our team based in Countrywide House in Caldecotte, Milton Keynes.

Key responsibilities
* Update MUMS system with any data received via email or in the post
* Investigate and respond to queries received (Portal messages within 24 hours / email / telephone)
* Update and action Mortgage cases highlighted through the High Risk Measures, using initiative to progress mortgage through to offer
* Maintain constant contact with all parties relevant to the applicable mortgage case, to ensure mortgage and insurance documentation is complete in preparation for exchange of contracts
* Ensure case is offered and all relevant checks are completed in preparation for transferring to the On risk and completion team
* Ensure all insurance policies are placed on risk at the correct time
* Monitor and investigate all cases which appear on a High Risk Monitor
* Work to a designed daily structure to achieve maximum coverage throughout a designated pipeline
Skills and experience
* Basic computer awareness is essential, as is the ability to type accurately and quickly
* Ability to multitask in a busy, high workload office environment is essential
* Confident and outgoing team player with ability to prioritise and organise appropriately
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Professional attitude in dealings with all parties
* Patience and sincerity when dealing with customers who may have little knowledge of the mortgage process
* Empathetic approach when dealing with customers who may become upset when things are not going to plan
* Understanding of the Group’s commitment to achieving fair outcomes for customers
* Conscientious, able to work under pressure with minimum supervision; an innovative approach to problem solving is an advantage
