We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to work with children in a school environment. This role is all about making a genuine difference for learners who need extra support to reach their potential and find it a challenge to participate in attending school or learning sessions.
The Role
As a SEN Tutor, you will:
* Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
* Work face-to-face with learners in their homes or a neutral location such as a community library, or if needed, over Microsoft teams, across the Stockport area.
* Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
* Collaborate with safeguarding advisers to ensure learners' well-being and development are fully supported.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS/QTLS (essential).
* Brings a compassionate, student-focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
* Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
* Holds a full UK driving licence.
