During the programme, you will:
Be reporting to a Senior Product Security Advisor, with tasking guided by the Head of Consulting, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge helping to provide comprehensive and effective cyber security and resilience support to a number of customer delivery scenarios as well as on your own assigned cyber security development project.
Work alongside experienced IT professionals and engineers to analyse security threats, identify and mitigate potential security risks, and develop solutions to protect our products (radars, lasers e.g.), customers systems and data. Within this time, you are provided the opportunity and are fully supported to work towards Industry recognised professional cyber security certifications and qualifications.
As a Graduate Product Security Advisor, you will
Be focused on supporting the delivery of security aspects to the company’s core products and to external stakeholders. This requires co-ordination with engineering teams and delivery of all facets of cyber and information security related to the delivery across the engineering lifecycle – from requirements all the way through to in-service support and maintenance.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of significant programmes, during which you will ensure that products meet the highest standards, in accordance with customer’s requirements and risk appetite. You will be supported in this role as part of a larger team of consultants, engineers and product domain specialists.
Your work at Leonardo UK will see you take the lead in solving customer problems in an agile, innovative and team-centric manner. The role may involve a blended hybrid working model, with a mixture of working from home and working on site at one of our Leonardo offices to ensure close collaboration with the wider team and with our customers
What you’ll bring
Qualifications
1. A minimum of a 2:2 degree in an engineering discipline, and/or cyber security discipline.
(or)
2. A higher degree, such as MSc or PhD in an engineering discipline and/or cyber security discipline.
Skills
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team, and be able make sound decisions based on information available.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels. Both internally and with customers.
5. Core consulting skills – building client relations; adaptability to changing schedules; reliability and quality of task delivery; flexibility in working hours and locations; team player.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
