This in-house Pension Executive function is looking for a strategic and resilient leader to shape and deliver their Member First vision—ensuring a ‘right first time’ quality service for members while driving continual improvement, assurance, and operational excellence.
As Director of Assurance, Quality & Standards, you will:
1. Set and deliver the vision for quality across Member Services.
2. Lead their first line assurance programme, embedding governance, standards, and control.
3. Build and implement a sustainable knowledge management system.
4. Drive remediation strategies, complex administration, and service improvements.
5. Engage senior stakeholders (including trustees and non-executives) to influence positive change.
About you:
6. Proven senior leadership in a regulatory or financial services environment.
7. Strong background in assurance, risk management, quality management, and service transformation.
8. Resilient, pragmatic, and able to lead through complexity with sound judgement.
9. Experience in pensions (administration/regulation) is highly desirable.
