Shift schedule
This role will be working 5 days out of 7 which will every other weekend
Monday to Sunday, 9-5.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Driver for our Mental Health Hospital in Pontypridd. This vital role involves ensuring safe transportation and providing support to our patients within a high-quality care environment. Join us in making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Responsibilities:
4. Safely transport patients to and from the hospital and other locations as required.
5. Provide compassionate support to patients during transportation and within the hospital setting.
6. Assist in the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
7. Maintain accurate records of transportation and support activities.
8. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure patient safety and comfort.
9. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment.
10. Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering holistic care.
11. Contribute to creating a respectful and caring atmosphere for patients
Qualifications/Essentials:
12. Proven experience in a support worker or driver role within healthcare or social care.
13. Excellent communication skills.
14. Ability to follow detailed care plans.
15. Valid driving license with clean driving record.
16. Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
18. Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to transportation.
19. IT skills for record-keeping.
