Procurement Manager
Location: London
Contract: Full‑time, Permanent
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office (London)
Procurement Heads are working with an exciting spectator sport client who is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Procurement Manager to lead, develop and manage end‑to‑end procurement activity across a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment.
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring value for money, strong supplier performance, contract compliance and operational excellence across both day‑to‑day and strategic projects.
You will drive procurement strategy, support capital initiatives, embed strong governance, and ensure goods and services are procured efficiently, ethically and in line with organisational standards.
Key Requirements
* Experience leading end‑to‑end procurement across multiple categories (e.g., facilities, IT, construction, services).
* Strong background in supplier sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract management.
* Ability to manage daily purchasing activity, including POs, tender processes, approvals and invoice reconciliation.
* Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance and ethical procurement standards.
* Proven ability to track spend, report on KPIs and drive cost efficiencies.
* Comfortable supporting cross‑functional teams and improving procurement processes.
Key Skillset
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering savings.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* High levels of integrity, professionalism and stakeholder engagement.
* Familiarity with procurement or finance systems (desirable).
* Experience in the sport industry (desirable).
