The Growth Company's GC Insight team has an exciting opportunity for an Events & Marketing Executive. In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of marketing activities, leading on specific workstreams, including organising and managing the events schedule. You will deliver high-quality marketing content in line with industry best practices, while building and managing relationships with partners, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers.
You will also develop, plan, promote, and implement workshops and events, providing peer support and upskilling Executives and Apprentices in the marketing team. The role is on a fixed-term contract until March 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads through campaigns.
2. Implement a digital-first marketing approach, managing online and social media activities.
3. Develop and deliver workshops and events to maximize networking and business opportunities.
4. Create and manage marketing content, including campaigns and case studies.
5. Maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring timely and budget-compliant activities.
6. Report on campaign performance, providing insights for improvement.
7. Contribute to the overall marketing strategy, introducing innovative ideas.
8. Mentor and support junior team members and Apprentices.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience in multi-channel marketing in the private or public sector.
* Proven success in managing campaigns from start to finish.
* Strong event management skills.
* Excellent copywriting and content development skills.
* Knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CMS, social media).
* Ability to manage external relationships and budgets.
The position is based in St Helens. The salary is up to £27,330 per annum, on a fixed-term full-time basis. The closing date for applications is 10/09/2025.
