Training & Development Administrator

Location: Stirling/hybrid working options

Your new role

To effectively co-ordinate and administer the training, compliance and development programmes for the RCG & Group. This role plays a crucial part in facilitating excellent communication and information sharing across the team and will provide full support to the Training and Development team. Working collaboratively across the business to ensure the maintenance of training records and ensuring training courses are arranged in line with statutory requirements.

What you'll do:

1. Responsible for scheduling, planning and administration of all training courses for RCG & Group
2. Identifying and implement process and procedural improvements across the training and compliance activity
3. Support T&D Team to create reports utilising the Learning Management System.
4. Support T&D Team to gather data and relevant narrative in relation to the programmes for company reports (including eLearning stats and analysis)
5. Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and processes in relation to T&D activity
6. Managing the day-to-day relationships with our internal and external training partners, ensuring clear, accurate and timely communication
7. Engaging with key stakeholders across all business to coordinate T&D activity in their regions
8. Liaising with business supports regarding scheduling of regional training courses
9. Championing collaborative working and sharing of relevant information with wider HR teams
10. Liaising with external suppliers, booking courses, ensuring all details are captured on the Learning Management System.
11. Support additional development requests from Robertson Group (including further and higher education, vocational training, and eLearning)
12. Sourcing cost effective Venue providers, College and Universities
13. Accurately document certification from External training boards, committees and accrediting bodies
14. Responsible for all communications regarding the booking and organisation of training courses including calendar invitations and course joining instructions
15. Respond to incoming communications in accordance with agreed timescales, in body of response emails
16. Work to agreed deadlines for projects and initiatives
17. Work closely and communicate frequently throughout the day with wider T&C Team with progress updates and to manage any changing priorities
18. Plan and issue timely communications across the business in collaboration with the
19. relevant teams and stakeholders
20. Support the wider People Strategy for the group and allocated team projects

What you'll need:

21. Previous experience working within a training and development environment
22. Internal relationship management experience with the credibility to liaise with senior management level
23. Problem solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
24. Ability to identify issues or risks and provide workable solutions
25. An individual who embraces change
26. Ability to achieve set deadlines
27. Able to provide exemplary customer service
28. Ability to work well under pressure
29. Excellent organisational skills
30. Highly skilled in use of Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
31. Experience using a Learning Management System for planning and reporting
32. Strong decision-making ability and proactive nature
33. Ability to prioritise and adjust quickly to changing priorities
34. Process driven with a continuous improvement focus
35. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
36. Ability to achieve set deadlines and work well under pressure
37. Flexible approach to working hours where business demands require
