Job Description
3. Lead individual procurement's to ensure projects and requirements comply with internal policies, Cabinet Office guidelines, and UK procurement law, while delivering value for money.
4. Ensuring all necessary financial approvals are in place
5. Advising stakeholders on drafting clear and effective Statements of Requirement
6. Supporting the development of specifications that align with strategic objectives and encourage strong supplier engagement
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Officer should have:
7. Understanding of the Procurement Act 2023.
8. Experience providing procurement advice in a public sector or regulated environment.
9. CIPS Level 4.
10. Knowledge of public sector procurement.
11. Commercial/procurement acumen gained in a commercial environment.
