Unit Role: Strategic Command develops, generates, operates, integrates unique and pan-Defence capabilities to maintain operational and strategic advantage. Position Role: UKStratCom Assistant Head Reserves Delivery with specific responsibility for: 1. Lead the practical application and implementation of HQ UK Strategic Command policy to meet the Command's highest priority capability and output requirements. 2. Liaise closely with HLB Reserve champions to identify where reservists could make a significant contribution to the whole force effort. 3. Assist HLBs to create a flexible and productive Reserve forces operating model and delivery plan. 4. Facilitate access to 'a body of expertise' to support HLBs and spread good practice, including the identification of issues that need elevation to TLB level or above for resolution. 5. Gather evidence of systemic issues and support the HQ UKStratCom Reserves team to broker solutions. 6. Support the UKStratCom Reserves team in the development of Policy and Strategy. 7. Fulfil leadership and management duties for any personnel attached or assigned to the Reserves delivery team.
