What you will be doing:
1. Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment across wastewater treatment sites
2. Work on pumps, gearboxes, and specialist process machineryUndertake large plant repairs and fabrication tasks
3. Apply first-level maintenance and develop new skills, including electrical disconnections and working in explosive atmospheres
4. Collaborate with other disciplines in a mobile team
5. Ensure safety at all times, including confined space and working-at-height protocols
6. Participate in standby/call-out rota
What we are looking for:
7. A completed Apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline
8. A full understanding of related RAMS to deliver an effective and safe maintenance regime
9. Experience of working with Waste Water treatment processes would be desirable
10. Ability to fault find and repair large complex pieces of mechanical equipment
11. A full UK driving license is required
12. CompEx 11
13. Welding or Fabrication experience
