As an Agile Delivery Manager/ Engineering Manager you will play a key role in supporting the teams to deliver customer centric solutions using the latest cloud technologies. This is a varied role involving software project delivery, line management, scrum mastery and more. To be considered you will have come from a development background before moving into management and project delivery. People / line management is critical (you will be managing a team of 6-9) as are strong software delivery skills.
This great role is for a technology company at the forefront of their industry. Working on their SaaS product you will manage a team and enable them to focus on the development of software to external clients. A skilled Scrum Master, you will be software delivery focused and will have people / line management experience.
Key Tasks Include -
* Work with the Product team on delivery timescales and schedules.
* Ensure products are delivered within time to scope and cost.
* Drive a positive culture within the team.
* Work with the agile engagement team to adopt suitable tools and methodologies.
* Manage all the ceremonies of the team from stand up to refinement and retro.
* Provide line management, coaching and mentoring of the team.
* Work across the business with Architects, Principal Engineers, Product Owners etc
Skills And Experience Must Include -
* Strong and proven experience as an Engineering Manager (software) or Agile Delivery Manager.
* Proven experience of delivering projects.
* Team leading and mentoring experience (mentoring, coaching, direct line management, 1-2-1's, reviews, etc).
* Excellent knowledge of Agile.
* Good knowledge of Software Engineering with agile tools and techniques.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent problem solving skills.
