You'll Support the Programme Controls Manager and Technical & Engineering Directorate on all aspects of Project Controls for our client. Lead the day-to-day management of the Project Controls team across schedule, cost, risk, change and reporting. Provide interpretation of project controls data to support prompt decision making by senior leadership. Establish and manage the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and oversee monthly KPI & progress data across schedule, cost, risk and quality. Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle. Support the development, implementation and maintenance of integrated Project Controls processes. Support reporting activities including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and performance insights. Liaise with and assure the supply chain on their Project Controls deliverables. Ensure timely and high-quality production of month-end performance reports. Drive innovation and help ensure Project Controls activities across the client programme are “Digital by Default”. Help develop, coach and support senior project controls resources. About You Essential Professional experience undertaking Project Controls Manager or Programme Controls Manager roles for large, complex construction or infrastructure projects. Experience across multiple Project Controls functions including cost, estimating, scheduling, change and risk. Strong understanding of earned value analysis. Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels. Ability to facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders to identify and mitigate issues. Experience managing teams of highly skilled specialists within a matrix environment. Experience managing project controls systems and delivering integrated project controls information. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Deliverables-focused, motivated and able to rise to any challenge. Desirable Active membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar organisation. Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI. Understanding of NEC / FIDIC contract suites. Experience in the nuclear sector (or similarly regulated sectors).
