Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager – Automotive Chemicals
Kemetyl is one of Europe’s leading producers of car-care fluids, industrial chemicals and maintenance products, supplying major retailers and distributors across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
We’re expanding and now seeking a Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager to drive growth across the UK & Ireland retail market.
Reporting into the UK Country Manager, you will manage both new and existing customer partnerships, primarily within the retail sector. Your mission: deliver strong customer satisfaction, profitable growth, and new business development.
Responsibilities
* Grow and manage key retail customer relationships
* Drive sales performance and profitability in line with UK strategy
* Lead product launches, sales initiatives and marketing campaigns
* Identify new business opportunities and deliver category development
* Monitor sales performance and act on insights
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis
* Collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, marketing and commercial teams
* Manage relationships with distributors and suppliers

* 5+ years’ senior B2B sales experience
* Proven success managing major key accounts
* Experience in retail and distribution

* Entrepreneurial, customer-focused and results-driven
* Flexible, hands‑on, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
