Job Summary
Due to expanding business needs and continued growth, Kishorn Port Ltd are currently recruiting for a Breakfast Chef to join their Kitchen team.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 5am - 10am. Duties include early morning breakfast prep. cooking breakfast for up to 80 clients and assisting with food prep for the day ahead.
Previous experience in a busy kitchen is essential.
Meals and accommodation may be available for the right applicant. Extra hours may be available for holiday or sickness cover.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations
* Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
* Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
* Lead by example in delivering excellent service, including assisting with serving clients when required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role within a workplace or hospitality setting
* Preferably some previous breakfast or brunch service experience
* Strong background in food production and cooking techniques
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Previous experience in food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
