We're partnering with a multi-disciplinary engineering & surveying consultancy to find an experienced Senior Building Surveyor who’s eager to take ownership of projects, mentor developing talent, and deliver excellence across a varied portfolio.

My client is ideally looking for someone to be based at their site in Hull, but could also consider candidates in Leeds or York.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and managing end-to-end surveying projects
* Carrying out detailed building inspections & producing clear reports
* Providing expert advice on building regulations, planning & compliance
* Guiding and supporting junior surveyors to grow their capability
* Working closely with clients, design teams & contractors
* Staying ahead of industry trends to ensure best practice delivery
What we're looking for:
* Degree in Building Surveying (or related discipline)
* Post-qualification experience in building surveying
* MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred)
* Strong building pathology & defect diagnosis skills
* Confident communicator with excellent report-writing skills
* Natural leader with a passion for developing others
